It determines the elongation of bituminous samples at a predetermined speed and temperature (50 mm/minute; 25oC). The inside of the device is made of stainless steel. The cooling unit is digitally controlled and is designed to easily reach the set value in non-air-conditioned environments. It consists of a water circulation pump, digital thermostat (± 0.1°C), gear mold feeding unit, manual tensile stress carrying unit. It can test three samples simultaneously. Electric motor 0.25 hp.
