It is used to test the resistance of rock and concrete samples to point loads applied via two conical 55 Hrc hardness loading heads.
The device is used for samples with a maximum diameter of 4″ (101.6 mm).
The device is complete with a manual hand fracture, a digital reader head that shows instantaneous loads and peak points, a digital distance indicator with 0.01 mm precision, a carrying case and a protective mask.
It is available in two different models with a maximum capacity of 50 or 100 kN.
