This test is also known as the ‘Kajima test’. The test is used to measure the filling strength of self-consolidating concrete with a maximum overall size of 20 mm. The device consists of a container (transparent) with a flat and smooth surface. There are 35 PIECES of obstacles in the container, pipe made of PVC with a diameter of 20 mm and a center distance of 50 mm. It is a put filling pipe (diameter 100mm height 500mm) with a funnel (height 100mm) on the upper side. The container is filled with concrete along this fill pipe, and the difference in height between the two sides of the container is a measure of the filling strength.
